Community Coalition Seeks to Increase Health Access Across McLean County

Health needs assessments demonstrate how some McLean County neighborhoods and communities struggle to access needed services. In response, local civic leaders and nonprofits have embarked on a growing partnership to improve the health and well-being of local residents. A new Carle BroMenn mobile health clinic, dedicated to McLean County represents the first step in improving these gaps in local communities.

Hearing a higher calling through Faith Community Nursing

A nurse for 46 years, Donna Redding is also a key health connection for parishioners in two Bloomington churches through Faith Community Nursing. The Carle FCN Nursing Network is comprised of faith community nurses who focus on health promotion and wellness ministries within their respective faith communities and surrounding neighborhoods.

Mobile Health Clinic to reach more kids thanks to second phase of federal grant

The clinic is part of Carle’s Community Health Initiatives effort of delivering healthcare to community members in innovative ways and reducing health disparities throughout the region.
